Children with special needs are people too! Our special needs teaching programs offer you the chance to work alongside local teachers in classrooms of 50 or more children with special needs. Volunteer placements are at the School for the Blind, The Autism School, or a Special Needs Boarding School. These children all need and deserve the best opportunity to learn. By volunteering, you are giving them that opportunity. While in the classroom, you will gain practical experience in dealing with special needs education. At the same time, you’ll make a difference in a child's life. As you develop confidence and experience, you will be given more responsibilities.
