The mountains and fjords are awe-inspiring, and the opportunities for outdoor activities and recreation are almost inexhaustible. In Siglufjörður, there is a flourishing cultural life. The main activity involves forestry work: managing, planting, using, conserving, and repairing forests, woodlands, and associated resources for human and environmental benefits.
