Siglufjordur, One Earth - Our Home

Siglufjörður is a town of about 1,300 people and is the northernmost town on the mainland, a 5-hour drive from Reykjavik. It is an area of spectacular natural beauty. The mountains and fjords are awe-inspiring, and the opportunities for outdoor activities and recreation are almost inexhaustible. In Siglufjörður, there is a flourishing cultural life. There are several restaurants, galleries and workshops, and museums. This camp has a variety of activities. The main activity involves forestry work: managing, planting, using, conserving, and repairing forests, woodlands, and associated resources for human and environmental benefits.
