Medical Internships and Volunteering in Nicaragua

AMOCSA (Asistencia Médica de Occidente S.A.) is the private hospital that likely offers the highest medical standards in León. In addition to León, there are two other locations for larger clinics and several smaller outpatient facilities in western Nicaragua. A new building houses the emergency department with a laboratory, three intensive care units, and an ambulance service. Another new building provides wards with 61 beds and facilities for pediatrics, neonatal ward, surgery, internal medicine, gynecology/obstetrics, orthopedics, and orthopedics, along with a pharmacy.
