Embark on a cultural experience like no other to South Africa with Westcoast Connection. On these service programs, students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local cultures and traditions while working alongside the locals on various community projects. Your days will be filled with meaningful service, scenic landscapes, unbelievable wildlife, warm people, and thrilling adventures. Westcoast Connection is a qualified Certifying Organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
Program Highlights
Support A School Project – Children’s Eco Training – together with a local school and its students, as well as embark on a sustainable environmental project.
Visit the St. Lucia Community where you will play soccer and games with local children, as well as run arts and crafts activities and help them practice their English.
Participate in numerous service projects, from working with crèches to helping teach the children English through songs and games at Simon’s Town.
Experience South Africa through activities like safari experience in Kruger National Park, a visit to the Apartheid museum, and whitewater rafting through the Sabie River.
Visit world-renowned attractions such as the Table Mountain, Robben Island, Seal Island, and Cape of Good Hope.
