Latin America and the Ukraine war: trade and relations

The core topic of this Summer School course offers students a global overview of Mexico’s trade and diplomatic relations, especially in light of the Russia-Ukraine war. It also examines how the country balances its relations between the US and China while addressing supply chain opportunities and challenges. The 3-week modality focuses on the described course topic, and also includes a complementary series of lectures on the "Mexican context": Mexican History, Mexican Culture and Society, and Interculturality and Inequalities. These provide students with a deep understanding of the national and cultural background of their chosen subject.
