This is an ideal summer course for students taking up Design, Arts, or other related disciplines. It offers a comprehensive introduction to crafting, blown glass mold making, and slip casting. It combines traditional techniques with state-of-the-art technology, using Digital Fabrication. While previous knowledge and training in 3D modeling aren’t necessary, some experience and a strong interest are an advantage. The 3-week modality focuses on a practical approach to the course topic, working with computers, 3D printers, ceramic and glass molds, and bringing the elaborated molds to practice in a glass blower facility.
