U.S. Department of State: Internships Available!

The U.S. Department of State’s Pathways Internship Program offers two tracks: the Internship Experience Program (IEP) and the Internship Temporary Program (ITEP). Both programs are open to U.S. citizens enrolled in educational institutions from high school to graduate levels and provide paid opportunities to explore Federal careers. Internship Experience Program (IEP) interns receive non-temporary, excepted service appointments aligned with the duration of their academic program. Internship Temporary Program (ITEP) designed for interns to work during seasonal breaks or year-round.
