Tiger Tops Elephant Welfare Volunteer Program

The Tiger Tops group of companies is a pioneer in environmentally responsible and sustainable tourism practices on the Indian subcontinent. We have partnered with Responsible Tourism Trust, a Nepali non-profit organization we initiated but is currently operating independently, to launch our first Tiger Tops Elephant Welfare Volunteer Program at Tharu Lodge, which is dedicated solely to the welfare of 12 elephants under our care. The goal of our program is to involve committed volunteers to ensure elephant welfare through husbandry, maintenance and improvement of the elephant camp, and fundraising and education through social media.
