The Food Gap is the first program for young adults who are enthusiastic and passionate about food. We believe learning about food is the best way to absorb the history and culture of a new place, so we spend the semester eating, learning from local chefs and cooks, and cooking for our group. The semester culminates in a group-made cookbook, the proceeds of which we'll donate to a charity of our choice. Over the semester, you'll make friends for life as well as unleash your creativity with recipe making, food photography, and taking cooking classes. You'll become an Italian food expert, learn about Italian history and culture, and give back by volunteering on farms, at food banks, and with local families.
