Amazing opportunity
by: Katharine Woodmansee - United StatesProgram: Wildlife Vet ExperienceThis trip was incredible. I had the opportunity to work with many different species including sable, inyala, kudu, impala, rhino, water buffalo, wild dogs, blesbok, roan antelope, cheetahs, cows, and domestic dogs. During my two weeks in South Africa I was able to assist in DNA collection including fecal samples, hair follicle samples, blood samples and smears. Wildlife vet experience
by: Grace Drummond - United KingdomProgram: Wildlife Vet ExperienceThis was an amazing experience. I met some really lovely people who I will never forget, and got to take part in some extremely moving projects. I’d highly recommend this project to anyone, whether you are interested in wildlife medicine or not, as it is extremely good clinical experience and encouraged me to get hands on and improve my confidence.

Roger was super organised from the very beginning always making sure everything was okay and immediately answering any queries. Getting t...

What inspired you to travel abroad?
An opportunity presented itself via our university wildlife society, and I loved their focus on forward thinking conservation and ethical tourism. I think that The Expedition Project really goes out of their way to promote the wellbeing of the environment and ethical working.
