Before arriving in Madrid, I was a teacher in a high school. This is going to be a walk in the park, right? Not! It was as if I knew nothing about teaching but in a good way because I have learnt soooo much! I love Madrid. I just finished the TEFL course and am in the hunt for a job now. The school sends us job alerts and is very accommodating with any questions we have. As an American expat here on a student visa, the school includes Spanish lessons which has been super helpful. The course itself was difficult but well worth it, and I did not have a teaching background. After completing the course I feel very ready to teach! Make the move to Spain it is awesome!
