Volunteering in Zambia – Species Conservation

Become a conservation volunteer in Zambia and help collect essential conservation data and protect orphaned elephants gradually released back into the wild as part of our partner’s release program. During your three-week volunteer adventure, you will spend each week in a different location in this fascinating country – from the vibrant capital of Lusaka to the spectacular Kafue National Park. As a volunteer, you will gain insight into the program’s elephant behavioral observation studies, learn about anti-poaching and wildlife rehabilitation, use a range of methodologies to help collect biodiversity data in local national parks, and help with staff capacity building.
