Empowering Women with Music Training and Community Work

Women face a lot of hardship. Domestic abuse, child marriage, uneducated in favor of male children. The Living Music Foundation realized how much music and performance training can transform the lives of women we work with, building confidence and self esteem, enabling access to a better future. We partner with women's refuge groups around our local area of Mbarara and take great pride in spending time training them musically, but also personally. Our trainings revolve around strong messages of female empowerment and the worth of female lives beyond being mothers and wives.
