Great Opportunity in Ecuador
by: Madi Downs - United StatesProgram: Ecuador Study and Intern – Latin American Studies TrackI lived in Quito for 6 weeks working at the Equidad for short, a center for LGBTQ + members. I worked on my Spanish and helped the community as a desk person. I traveled on the weekends to beautiful spots like the Galapagos (which you can only travel to from Ecuador) & Baños.
Kaya Responsible Travel in Ecuador
by: agbarron - United StatesProgram: Ecuador Study and Intern – Latin American Studies TrackI really enjoyed my time in this program! It was a great way to become more independent by traveling solo while also being supported by a very resourceful team. I also was able to learn a lot about the healthcare system in Ecuador which led me to reflect more on the way that the healthcare system functions in my home country.
