I learnt about the culture of the people of Tanzania which has some similarities with my country of origin. I also enjoyed that this is a start for my learning Swahili which is one thing I have always wished to do. Mostly I liked that I made a change in someone's life by my educational material.

The remote International Business internship played a large part in the achievement of my long-term goals because as I think about my desired career path and major while applying for college, marketing and business analytics are two of my major interests. I was able to start competitor research, analyze the markets and statistics of other companies, and generated marketing strategies for certain aspects of the host organization I am interning with itself. The most memorable moment of this internship was writing the first blog, because I got to use my own creative skills to craft a piece of writing for the company that was published on their website! I had never written a blog before or even knew how to approach writing one, but after this internship, I wrote 19 blogs and even had some published on the company's website!
