Ignore the packing list it’s wrong. More details about the programme as more people would come. Poor communication. Poor pre programme. Information given and lack of communication before different parts of GVI.

An educational experience that represents what it is truly like to live there

GVI is a fantastic program for those who want to learn about a specific area through a more local perspective! My class recently went on a trip to Costa Rica with them and they did an awesome job showing us around the less touristy parts of Costa Rica and giving us an educational experience that represents what it is truly like to live there. We even got to visit an indigenous community called Sepecue which we definitely wouldn't have had to opportunity to visit had we not gone with GVI!

The experience was great.

The experience was great. I learned a lot about how different people in the world lived and where a lot of the things I eat come from. The food was delicious and all the people I met were extremely nice. The trip was a little tiring towards the end but it was still definitely manageable.
