A time I will never forget!

I actually was in South Africa this past summer through my University and we worked with GVI. It was amazing. It was 100% the best summer of my life. GVI gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in new cultures and connect with people I wouldn't have been able to do before. Forever grateful for the opportunity I had. Those children and the women in the township I worked with taught me so much. I loved every part of that experience.

Overall I had a great experience!

Overall I had a great experience! GVI is a great organization and the staff is good. I wish certain things had been more organized/ planned but it taught me to go with the flow and be more open minded.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.

i had an amazing experience, to be able to interact with the people within the community and have dinners with them and ask them questions to understand their lives through their lense was such an amazing opportunity. I’ve learned so much from the community of Zola. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I would love to have another opportunity like this.
