Loved it
by: James Atherton AthertonProgram: Thailand Community Development Service Learning for GroupsLoved it. First few days was little tough, just getting into a rhythm but then after that it was real good fun with the turtles and loved the construction project at the school, was good fun to play basket ball with a few of the children there. Loved khao sok the scenery there was amazing and the accommodation was really cool.
My experience in Thailand was amazing
by: William Jefferson JeffersonProgram: Thailand Community Development Service Learning for GroupsMy experience in Thailand was amazing as I got the chance to embrace a new culture and learned about Thai customs. Also, I got to witness Thai wildlife and try new foods that were recommended by the GVI staff.
I had an incredible time on the GVI trip
by: Bethan Crotty CrottyProgram: Thailand Community Development Service Learning for GroupsI had an incredible time on the GVI trip, as I felt that I was able to aid the Thai community and environment, as well as make lasting memories of incredible experiences. I especially loved the conservation work and that we were able to give back to the community in Phang Na, for instance through the construction project. The GVI staff were friendly and helpful, and I will miss both them and the experience here in Thailand!
