It is impossible to pick just one! But I was able to attend a traditional African church service on Heritage weekend; the opportunity came from the principal at the township school I worked with. Several volunteers went and it was an incredible experience!

The entire experience was relevant, important, and directly addressed the needs of the schools, families, and community of the settlements in Cape Town. The work at the schools with children, staff, and families was rewarding. Through this wonderful work, hope and possibilities for the future are fostered.
