Because Palestine is under occupation and enmeshed in a highly tense political situation, many people, unfortunately, do not know the beautiful side of this country, its history, culture, and traditions. Away from the glare of conflict, the daily lives of Palestinians in their homeland are relatively unknown to the outside world. The Palestinian Center seeks to remedy that most important aspect and to highlight and celebrate the positive side of Palestinian life. The Volunteer as an Articles Writer in Palestine program is designed for those who wish to travel to Palestine and write about it as a means of presenting the rich cultural, historical, and traditional backdrops that the country and its citizens offer to the world. Program Highlights

Participate in the social and community activities organized by the Center.

Guarantee an inclusive program fee, with accommodation at a Palestinian host family or a dorm.

Receive three hours per week of conversational Arabic lessons (Palestinian dialect) with one of our qualified teachers.

Take part in sightseeing excursions in Hebron to famous sites such as the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Old City with its exotic souqs, or visit a refugee camp.

Enjoy a daily Palestinian breakfast with other international volunteers and staff at the Center.
