The HSK is an internationally recognized qualification to prove one's level of Mandarin language proficiency, and it is specifically taken by foreigners only. The course introduces mock tests to gradually help participants get familiar with the HSK. The study content will include a lot of vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, paraphrasing, grammar, and writing, all of which are crucial in getting an HSK qualification. Candidates typically have classes five days a week for four hours per day. Great emphasis is placed on just the language. The duration of the course is flexible, but normally time frames may be three months, six months, or longer, and the applicant has the luxury to choose when they want to enroll.

I was able to experience the nightlife, have home cooked Chinese food, go shopping in local shops, and enjoy touristy places in and around shanghai.
