Volunteer as an Assistant Teacher in Jamaica

Love teaching or simply have a passion for working with young people? Global Service Adventures offers a number of assistant teaching opportunities in the country. In Jamaica, some students have difficulty acquiring basic literacy and numeracy skills due to their family's inability to afford tuition. Our partner organizations offer placements in basic schools and primary schools. Volunteers receive guidance and support from the local teaching staff, helping them make a meaningful impact in the classroom. Local students in this program are warm and welcoming and eager to learn more about foreign cultures.
