The Eco-Volunteer/Biodiversity Research Assistant is a joint role between IPBio and Celine comprising a range of activities that are conducted in a group. The majority of these tasks are related to long-term field research activities wherein repetitive data collection is required to understand trends over long periods. This role is for volunteers who like to be outside and enjoy physical activity. The placement includes projects such as: - Tree Inventory - Habitat Monitoring - Mammal research with camera traps - Garden and reserve maintenance - Mushroom Inventory - Bird Inventory - Bird Mediated Seed Dispersal Project - Fish Inventory ... and much more.
Program Highlights
Learn about the conservation and protection projects of an animal release center in Brazil.
Gain valuable hands-on experience in wildlife conservation.
Participate in a project aimed at the preservation of the Atlantic Forest, one of the top biodiversity hotspots in the world.
