Average academics, great for a "study" abroad
by: Rose Hoogers - United StatesProgram: Career Programs in Florence, ItalyObviously it depends on the professor, but it seems like this is a great school for students who studying abroad for the traveling aspect and not so much for the academics. The school as a whole just seems a little odd and I heard a couple weird little rumors here and there, but I overall had a positive experience. I was a little disappointed that classes didn't go as in depth as I hoped, but the general mindset seemed to be that academics were secondary. If you plan your schedule right, you can...
The best decision I could have made
by: Kara Cronin - United StatesProgram: Career Programs in Florence, ItalyStudying in Italy through SAI was the best decision I could have made. In the fall of 2018, I had the doors open to incredibly unique opportunities through the guiding hands of SAI's wonderful team. They were always there to answer my questions and made every visit to their office welcoming and cheerful. The travel opportunities throughout Italy were some of the greatest memories I made during my time abroad. One of the greatest pieces of traveling/ life advice that I gained from someone in SAI ...

Growing up, my family always made a point to show my brother and me new things. Every year we took a trip to somewhere new. We rarely duplicate a trip. When I was in 9th grade, I was exploring my future college and learned of study abroad. I new right then and there I would do a semester abroad once I was in college, the question was where would I go.
