Eco Hero Conservation is a marine research and conservation program based in Nusa Penida, an offshore island of Bali that's home to diverse marine wildlife. We train and educate divers in the conservation of marine megafauna, and we are always looking for marine enthusiasts to join our research diver training program and research team. This Conservation Program builds on the experience and expertise of participants from around the world. Interns must be 18 years old or above, conservation-minded, and hold an Open Water Diving license. Coral reefs are essential to diverse fish species and marine life, in that they provide a safe habitat. To humans, they protect coasts from abrasion and storms. Program Highlights
Join a divemaster internship, which includes marine ecology specialties, with the ultimate goal of combining marine studies education and ocean activities.
Assist in the daily collection of info for the database of manta rays, turtles, and various fish species.
Participate in beach and reef cleanups, coral propagation programs, and awareness campaigns on the consequences of inaction.
Help local communities with learning English, especially the local children to provide them a brighter future.
Benefit from an internship with inclusions like accommodation and lunch during ocean training and research.
