Short-Term Volunteer - Bioconstruction & Permaculture in Rio

It's a great opportunity to experience permaculture, bioconstruction, and agroforestry in practice, as well as living in a multicultural community. By allowing a week of hands-on experience at the ecofarm, they also helped me so much with my dissertation, in which I address ecovillages and proposals for solutions to the climate crisis. I spent a week at Eco Cahminos and it was definitely one of my favorite times in Brazil during my month there. I feel like I learned so much in just a week from Bart and the other staff. Everyone is welcoming and really cares about the great work they are doing. The work is tough but very rewarding especially if you have a passion for the environment/sustainable living.
