Where is the volunteer program located?

In Jambiani, a beach located in the southeast of the island of Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania, comprises two main islands, Unguja and Pemba, as well as smaller islets.

What are the accommodation options?

You will stay in a volunteer house with shared rooms for 4 to 8 people. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the beach and another 20 minutes from the farthest project. The house is in a very rural area where you can fully experience the true essence of such an incredible island as Zanzibar.

What are the requirements?

Volunteers must be 16 years or older at the start of the program.

What is included in the program?

Airport pickup. Accommodation in a volunteer house. Three local meals a day. Orientation day. Airport drop-off on the departure day. Introduction to Zanzibari culture. 24/7 local personal support. Volunteer certificate upon completion (available upon request).

The total cost is divided into 2 parts: The registration fee paid to reserve the spot (210€) and the program fee. The program fee: community programs cost 360€ per week.
