This trip is ideal for those curious to learn more about the rich history of the Balkans while experiencing the natural splendor of the Mediterranean coastline. The trip begins in Split, the largest city on the Croatian coast. Filled with beautiful architecture and fascinating historical sites, Split also provides the gateway to the waterfalls and canyons of Krka National Park. After island hopping along the coastline and taking dips in the Mediterranean Sea, we'll cross into Montenegro to see the medieval villages of Kotor and run the whitewater rapids of the Tara River.
