I loved my time in Aix, I felt that I found great community and met amazing people through my school and the town I lived in. The region of Provence is absolutely beautiful, and everyone is so friendly.

An amazing Aixperience

I would do this program a million times over. My host family and IAU made me feel comfortable and happy in Aix. I made lifelong friends, went on fun adventures and also went through challenging moments that improved my self-confidence and helped me overall. There's really nothing negative I can say, because no matter what, all the challenging/testing moments ended up helping me in the long run. Having a host family really makes a difference as you not only observe the differences in culture but ...

Since so many students travel for a week or two after the completion of the program, it would be really helpful to be able to have coverage during that time. I had to go to the hospital during my travels and couldn't use my international health insurance because it had expired a few days earlier. If there's any way to extend it a little beyond the program dates (even just for some people who know they will be traveling) I think it would be a huge help.
