My experience abroad was the best thing that has happened to me. I grew so much in those two months when it came to independence. I didn’t realize what I was capable of before I went and when I returned to the United States I felt stronger and more sure of who I was. I got to explore amazing countries, meet new people, and try new things all while getting to intern somewhere that allowed to me to do what I was passionate about. Interning abroad is something everyone should do, it will change you...

Doing an internship aboard this past summer was such an amazing opportunity and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested! Being able to work with a UK company in London, England for 8 weeks was truly incredible. It was cool to learn more about how the business world works in Europe. I will be able to take everything I have learned and use it during the rest of my academic studies and in my future career.

Everything that AES did was great, however there were a few things that happened to me that were out of their or my control. The building we stayed in was not the nicest, the sheets we were given, were essentially two pieces of cloth, and there weren't many amenities. Also, the company I worked at seemed to not care what I did. They did not give me much meaningful work.

I love travel and London is my favorite city. Not only did I want international experience, I wanted future contacts in case I ever get the chance to move to London (like I hope to).
