Excellent time assisting with a school build in Southern Leyte. Local masons do the advanced construction work, but you assistance from us foreign volunteers. Everyone is lovely; All Hands and Hearts Staff, the masons, other volunteers, and the local community. Some of the construction work cam be difficult, hard, labor - especially in the Philippines rain and heat. But it is worth it knowing the work you are doing is helping the local community.

Joining The Philippines Typhoon Relief project in Southern Leyte was a serendipitous event for me; I had not heard of All Hands prior to being contacted via Workaway.
