All Hands and Hearts provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. With the frequency and intensity of disasters on the rise around the globe, there's an urgent need for a more thoughtful approach to how we respond and help impacted communities recover. When a disaster strikes, All Hands and Hearts arrives early and stays late to address vulnerable communities' immediate and long-term needs. We work alongside the local leaders and deploy our unique volunteer model to enable direct impact — helping families and communities recover by building safe, resilient schools, homes, and other community infrastructure. Thanks to passionate volunteers, donors, and partners, we've provided nearly 20 years of disaster relief support to over 1.3 million people.

Sometimes it even felt too controlled, but understandable given the situation in Ukraine. Community engagement English club was great.

by: Tasmin Walton - United KingdomProgram: All Hands and Hearts | Disaster Relief NonprofitI had been wanting to volunteer with AHAH for years and finally got the chance this November. I was only there for 2 weeks, but they were the most incredible and fulfilling 2 weeks of my life. It’s true what they say, you get the AHAH bug and never want to leave! I’m already planning my next trip and this time I’ll be going for longer. The sense of community, shared hope and purpose is what’s magical about AHAH. I connected with new people, learnt new skills and experienced a new culture. I now ...
An incredible, soul-fulfilling experience!
by: Tara Sreeves - United KingdomProgram: All Hands and Hearts | Disaster Relief NonprofitI am one of the many people who is totally addicted to All Hands and Hearts. I have been on 3 of their programs now, and all have been fantastic. The work is very fulfilling, I feel so proud of myself coming back from site and knowing that I have positively impacted a struggling community every day. Base really feels like home, and the other staff and volunteers feel like my family. I adore the experience and will continue to return for many, many years to come!

My parents live in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. After hearing about the damage and the struggles on the island, I had to give back to my people in their time of need. I decided to volunteer for two weeks and help many in need after Hurricane Maria. I enjoyed my time with the home owners and all the help I was able to provide, thanks to the program.
