Examples of business related internships can include accounting, business (social and economical) development, and graph design just to name a few. Some volunteer programs also focus on teaching the public about a variety of social issues apparent in Mexico; including animal rights and welfare, ecological responsibility, health, disability rights, human rights, education, children, and farming. Program Highlights
Upgrade your resume with an international volunteer abroad experience. Volunteer for approximately four hours a day at a locally owned company, grassroots organization, nonprofit, or museum.
Boost your Spanish language skills with an intensive language course the first 2 weeks abroad.
A local Adelante Program Director (who graduated from Michigan) is available 24/7 to answer any questions or concerns.
Enjoy living in a shared apartment with other international candidates or choose to live like a local so you can get the whole experience with a homestay .
Take advantage of cultural excursions that are included in the program cost the first couple weeks abroad. Additional excursions are offered each month and may require a small fee.

Marketing internship in Oaxaca de Juarez

Adelante did a fantastic job with assigning me an internship programme as my boss and colleagues were very accommodating and gave me a great experience over my time in Mexico. The city itself is wonderful with amazing food, incredible people and fantastic weather! I cannot recommend this city enough - it feels like a second home to me only after three months living here. Working in a Spanish speaking country is definitely the best way to improve your ability. The lessons I received when I arrived in the country were a great boost and pushed me on to learn more during my day to day life. I have improved leaps and bounds over my time here and its now given me the motivation to keep learning! Overall I can highly recommend the overall experience. I have gained valuable knowledge both in business and in Spanish proficiency and I am very grateful to Adelante for all their work putting it all together. Thank you!
