CEA CAPA Internships in Barcelona, Spain

I had the best experience in Barcelone while working for Hesperia Presidente hotel. I got the opportunity to learn and rotate through the different areas in the hotel. I could not be more grateful to CEA CAPA for the accommodations and amazing job opportunity.

Interning abroad has been an amazing experience for me. The best part is that I have the privilege of actually working with CEA’s Marketing Team. Although it’s virtual, the people I work with are beyond welcoming and I have learned so much from them already. This opportunity is the cherry on top for my study abroad experience. CEA placed me in the most stunning place to live: an 1800s Barcelona style apartment with stain glass windows, tile floors, and the sweetest roommates you can imagine! I love walking to my classes in the morning and stopping at different cafes to grab a coffee and taste test a new pastry. The CEA study center is super modern, containing classrooms on three floors, several study rooms, and a great view of Plaça de Catalunya. So far I’ve traveled to Mallorca, Costa Brava, and hiked Collserola, which was led by CEA employees. I’m most looking forward to our upcoming excursions: a weekend trip to Madrid and another to the Pyrenees, a tapas cooking workshop, dance class, and a visit to MNAC, just to name a few. In just a few weeks, Barcelona has already become my home, all thanks to CEA!

I loved every moment of studying and working in Barcelona! I learned so much about new about new cultures. I learned a lot about different cultures through my work experience because all of my co workers were from different places around the world. I also loved traveling to other places around Europe. I traveled to seven different countries trying all sorts of new things and fun activities. After traveling to these place I am still very happy I chose to live in Barcelona!
