Vienna isn't only IES Abroad's home (our first program started in Vienna in 1950!), it's home to some of the most prominent psychology thinkers —Alfred Adler, Max Wertheimer, Helene Deutsch, Erwin Ringel, Viktor Frankl (who taught at IES Abroad), and, of course, Sigmund Freud. Study abroad on this IES Abroad Vienna program as a student of Psychology and Social Sciences. Here, you'll explore youth cultures, childhood development, virtual identity on the web, the immigrant experience, and the social and psychological dimensions of discrimination. You can also boost your academic experience in Vienna with a hands-on internship, field trips, and more.
