The Intensive English course at Yorkshire College is a full-time program running from morning until afternoon and designed for students who want to improve their English quickly.

The General Morning component involves joining a group for three lessons daily, focusing on developing all four key English skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Use course books such as Cambridge Empower, Pearson Speak Out, and Oxford English File to build your vocabulary and grammar, helping you use English more effectively.

After lunch, attend booster classes with 1.5 lessons daily, covering various subjects based on your needs and interests such as IELTS preparation, Academic English, Business English, Conversation Skills, and Writing. Specific subjects may change depending on what students request.

Every Friday, you take a test on what you have learned in the General Morning classes. Although there are no tests for the booster classes, you may complete presentations, reports, or other tasks to show what you have learned. This course provides both broad and focused English language practice.
