Siglufjörður is a town of about 1,300 people and is the northernmost town on the mainland, a 5-hour drive from Reykjavik. It is an area of spectacular natural beauty. The mountains and fjords are awe-inspiring, and the opportunities for outdoor activities and recreation are almost inexhaustible. In Siglufjörður, there is a flourishing cultural life. There are several restaurants, galleries and workshops, and museums.

This camp has a variety of activities. The main activity involves forestry work: managing, planting, using, conserving, and repairing forests, woodlands, and associated resources for human and environmental benefits. We also work on beach cleanups.

This program is a great way to enjoy an amazing time in Iceland with other international volunteers. They have an incredible experience sharing their knowledge with each other while exploring creativity, environmental issues, and intercultural learning.
