Au Pair Abroad with World Voyage

The "Volunteer in South Africa" program provides an opportunity to make a positive impact while experiencing rich cultural heritage. Spend 3 weeks engaging in a project (or projects) close to your heart: community development, environmental conservation, and education. 

You could also focus on an area South Africa is mostly known for—its wildlife. Volunteer at a local animal reserve, sanctuary, or game farm where you learn about and assist with veterinary care. You also help with maintenance and other general tasks.

After falling in love with France in 2014 I've had the opportunity to come back in 2022 to be an au pair for the absolute best family. I loved every second of my time here and will be trying to get back here as soon as possible to create my life. World voyage gives us the best opportunities to learn about things we don't know like other cultures, languages and see if "the grass is greener on the other side". I am really grateful for thus opportunity that was given to me.

Coming to Denmark has been the best choice I could make in my time of life. And thanks to Worldvoyage they were able to help me from Day 1 up until now, everything from my paperwork, visa appointment and arriving in Denmark. They really are all about helping and making your dream come true:)

Au-pairing abroad has been such an adventure! I have experienced the Dutch culture and seen so many beautiful places. I have learned a lot of new things such as the language and met really amazing people. I would definitely recommend going abroad and taking on this adventure of a lifetime!

Second times the charm

My first family was not at all what i expected and I ended up working too many hours mainly cleaning. When i rematched i got the best family possible. They made me fewl comfortable, respected my time and personal space and made me feel at home.

Best year of my life !!!

I had a really good experience with an amazing host family who was always caring and supportive towards me and made me feel a part of the family. The agencies I worked with were just as great and always there to help whenever I had any questions. The process went really smoothly. The only thing I would say was the health care options cause I was only covered for certain things. Other doctors consultants, dentists, and stuff like that I had to cover myself and could get expensive living abroad but was not that bad if you are a healthy person that I luckily am. Coming to the social side and activities, there were endless things to do, and I was always busy learning and enjoying the new cultures. Switzerland has my heart and was one of the best years of my life!!!

I had the best time.

As a first-time au pair in the Netherlands, my journey has been nothing short of transformative. This experience has not only allowed me to immerse myself in Dutch culture but has also provided invaluable insights into childcare and personal growth. 
The aspect that truly sets au pairing apart is the connection forged with the host family. I've felt welcomed and supported throughout. The family's warmth and openness have made adapting to a new environment significantly easier. The cultural differences and homesickness can occasionally pose emotional hurdles. However, the rewards of this experience far outweigh any difficulties encountered.

From cultural immersion to personal development, this journey has broadened my horizons and enriched my perspective. For anyone considering au pairing abroad, particularly in the Netherlands, I wholeheartedly recommend embracing this opportunity—it's an experience that promises growth, understanding, and unforgettable memories.

Best decision I ever made

Becoming an au pair with world voyage was the best decision I've ever made. Cheney has been with me for four years and always made sure that I had the best experience and helped when needed.
I love being an au pair because I learn a lot about myself, different cultures and different people and it's such a life changing experience in the best way possible
