Set out on an adventure with a placement on a farm in Germany and find out what it feels like to live and work abroad! You get free accommodation and meals in exchange for your work!

Whether an organic farm, a riding stable, a cattle, dairy, vegetable or fruit farm, you can work in various agricultural sectors. Agriculture in Germany is multifaceted and there are both farms that specialize in milk and meat production (e.g sheep, pigs, cattle), as well as numerous vegetable, fruit and grain farms.

How can you get Involved?

Tasks can include looking after and feeding the animals, mucking out the stables, harvesting fruits, vegetables and crops, gardening, light construction and repair work. On some farms, heavy machinery is largely avoided in order to treat the soil as gently as possible. You will learn firsthand how resource-efficient agriculture works. Every day is a little different, so you definitely won't get bored!

What are your working times?

You will work 5-6 days a week for about 40-45 hours and have 1-2 days off per week.
