World Expeditions has over 40 years of experience operating unique adventure holidays on the paths less traveled. We offer our travellers big adventures with a small footprint. We launched our first trekking holidays in Nepal in 1975, when we were under our former name, Australian Himalayan Expeditions. In the years that followed, we expanded our operations into other Himalayan destinations, as well as South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia. To reflect the wider range of holidays on offer, Australian Himalayan Expeditions was renamed World Expeditions in the late 80s.
