An EduPair is someone who lives with a family and helps out with childcare in an educational way. In exchange, you receive language and cultural development as well as food and accommodation. Generally speaking, our host families expect EduPairs to take on a positive educational role for the host kid(s)' second language study. This usually means teaching English through play and exploring aspects of your culture together.

The program is open to recent high school graduates prior to university enrollment, current university students, and recently graduated students with these essential qualities:
- Native English speaker or have an advanced level of English
- Have a genuine love for children and enjoy spending time with them
- Open to cultural differences and understand that the comfort zone constantly broadens in a completely different culture
- Proactive in helping host children learn English and in preparing some activities
