Join your peers worldwide in this fun and highly enriching service program organized by Westcoast Connection. 

Like several tropical islands, the booming tourism in Hawaii threatens the environment. Additionally, the economic benefits fall unevenly, and there are many working poor. Get the opportunity to make a difference through your participation in numerous community service projects.

Run a day camp, preserve the environment, and learn about Hawaiian culture while getting your hands dirty at a taro farm. Beaches, beautiful weather, breathtaking scenery, and some radical surf are bonuses to your experience. Your group will be a close-knit ohana when the final banquet dinner arrives, making you wish you could prolong your stay to help even more.

This program is available to students completing grades 8, 9, and 10 (ages 14-16 years). Participants can join us for 10 or 20 days.

Westcoast Connection is a qualified certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award, and you will receive a certificate of completion recognizing your hours of community service at the end of the trip.
