No prior knowledge or experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the fun facts, information, and teaching tips needed to excel in this role.

As an Aquarium Educator, you'll have the opportunity to engage visitors in one-on-one conversations and small group presentations, answering their questions and sparking their curiosity about the wonders of the ocean. With flexible shifts available seven days a week, you can commit just two hours per week to making a meaningful impact as an ambassador for marine biology and conservation.

Our training program includes online modules, in-person classes, and personalized sessions with our Volunteer Supervisor to ensure you feel confident and prepared to represent the Waikiki Aquarium.
