Program Highlights

Volunteer at an ethical safe haven for primate species, some considered endangered.

Help provide a healthy, comfortable life for rescued primates by preparing their food and creating enrichment activities.

Assist with most aspects of the sanctuary’s operations, such as monitoring their feeding and assisting with new rescues.

Get the chance to actively assist the sanctuary’s appointed exotic veterinarian, including in the ICU, especially if you’re specializing in veterinary medicine (student or licensed).

Enjoy plenty of things to do in your free time: shark diving, wildlife safaris, market visits, shopping, historical tours, Zulu cultural shows, and surf lessons.
