Nepal is a small, beautiful and patriarchal country. Governed by men, they participate in every societal activity, while females are excluded. Women are treated as mere machines for producing children and carrying out household work. This is mainly due to Nepal being a poor country with many religions and cultures. Due to these conditions, women face discrimination. In some religions, the daughters are presented to the monastery, “gumba,” or temple to make their god happy. The female population does not have freedom to live their life.

As a volunteer, you will be able to interact with women's groups, work on ongoing projects, and contribute to their well-being.
