The Bachelor of Education in Language Education is a professional degree normally intended for educators. This degree is awarded to persons who have satisfactorily completed the program and have satisfied the examiners as set out under one of the given schemes. This undergraduate program has been designed to meet the personal pedagogical and professional development needs of beginning and practicing English teachers. It reflects sensitivity towards the issues, challenges, and possibilities in content and pedagogy in the teaching of English and the development of Literacy in Caribbean contexts.
