Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Care & Education)

This program educates and prepares individuals to work with and advocate for young children, from birth to age eight. Successful graduates will contribute to children’s growth and readiness for formal education and lifelong learning. You will: - Discover culturally and developmentally appropriate strategies for Early Stimulation and Language Development (birth to 2+ years) - Learn about culturally and developmentally appropriate strategies for engaging and monitoring the progress of young children across curriculum content in Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Social Studies (Pre-school to Grade 2) Teacher training is not required to enroll in this program. Students who possess formal teacher certification can matriculate into the 60-credit program.
