This volunteer program involves teaching English and other subjects to at-risk children from surrounding villages in Arusha, ultimately providing them with a more sustainable education.

Schools in Tanzania are not as well organized as Western schools, and with this program, we aim to close the gap. Private schools have 50-100 students, with one class of 5-30 pupils, while public schools can have up to 1500 students with a class consisting of 50-80 pupils. When this number becomes higher, schools can't always afford to split the class because they don't have enough teachers.

This is where you come in. After an introduction period, when you feel comfortable, you can teach a class by yourself alongside a professional teacher. The program offers a rewarding opportunity to gain teaching experience and make a lasting impact on the lives of local students.
