This summer, travel to Tanzania and study the country’s charismatic carnivores. Tanzania is home to more than 35 species of carnivores, including the African lion, cheetah, leopard, and wild dog—all of which are on the IUCN Red List. Work alongside leading wildlife professionals and study the behavioral ecology and conservation challenges facing these incredible creatures while observing them up close through safari drives and field expeditions.

SFS students will live and study at the Center for Wildlife Management Studies. Known locally as “Moyo Hill Camp” and surrounded by Tanzania’s world-famous national parks and wildlife, it is the perfect base camp for expeditions into the field. The campus is reminiscent of summer camp, with plenty of outdoor and communal spaces. The small, friendly community of Rhotia is a short walk away.
