ACM Master of Fine Arts - Painting

Complete a master’s degree in painting in an ideal setting—Southern France! The American College of the Mediterranean offers a two-year Master of Fine Arts, with a concentration in Painting. This 60-credit program combines studio practice with a field study, museum study, critical analysis, and liberal arts investigation. Courses are taught in English and culminate in a Thesis Project/MFA Show, which includes a public presentation of an original body of artwork. Students work on-campus in Aix-en-Provence, maintaining a daily open studio practice in their chosen discipline. At the same time, they develop independent critical, aesthetic, and art historical research with core faculty advisors.
